Smoker box is a device designed for cold and warm/hot smoking in all types of smokers.
The use of a smoke box ensures the excellent quality and efficiency of the smoking process.
Its assembly and operation are simple, therefore it will not cause any difficulties for users.
The set includes:
- Lid with a wooden handle
- 304 stainless steel smoke box cylinder
- Electric pump 4 W
- Two-piece smoke box nozzle consisting of smoke tube and air tube
- Silicone hose dia. 5/4 mm, 210 mm long
- Tripple connector for hoses

- Adaptor for connecting hoses
- Silicone hose dia. 8/5 mm, 100 mm long
- M8 stainless washer - 4 pcs
- M8x40 stainless bolt - 2 pcs
- M8 stainless nut - 2 pcs
The smoker box fitted with a 4W electric pump is a device perfect for use in cold smoking in
traditional smokehouses and hot smoking in electrically heated smokehouses.
The whole structure is made of stainless steel, which allows smoking even in adverse atmospheric
conditions and prolongs the lifetime of the device.
The thoughtful design of the smoker box allows generating a lot of smoke in spite of the small size
of the smoker box (115x270x330 (width / depth / height)).
The pump included in the set is capable of working with maximum efficiency of 2x4.5 L/minute. The
two knobs located on the pump enable stepless adjustment of air flow, which makes it possible to
control how much smoke is generated.
The whole set is complemented by a lid, which ensures airtightness of the wood chip chamber.
The greatest advantage of the smoker box over traditional methods of smoke generation is its high
efficiency, translating to simultaneous low consumption of wood chips. In contrast to traditional
methods, it is sufficient to place a small amount of wood chips in the smoker box in order to obtain
a large amount of smoke. Filling the smoker box fully enables generating smoke in the smokehouse
continuously for several hours without having to monitor it and add wood chips often. High efficiency
of the smoker box is obtained thanks to the pump that injects the smoke generated into the smoking
Our offer includes wood chips that will be perfect for preparing various kinds of meat:
Principle of operation:
The smoker box requires wood chips to work. The smoke generated by glowing wood chips passes
through a special cut-out to the smoke pipe, from which it is injected to the smoking chamber
together with air generated by the pump.
In the smoker box it is best to use a mix of wood chips with size of 2 or 4 mm, best in 50/50 ratio.
Method of assembly:
Make an opening with diameter of 20 mm in the bottom part of the smokehouse. Place the smoker
box there, positioned vertically, and mark the assembly openings. At the points designated, drill
openings with diameter of 8.5 mm and tighten the smoker box with 4 bolts and nuts
included in the set.
Use one washer for each bolt on the bolt head side, as well as on the nut side. The lid requires
assembly. Using a screw, attach the small lid with the large lid, and then screw the knob. In case
of problems - the order of individual elements is in the diagram.
How to use:
Insert wood chips into the smoker box , previously installed on the smokehouse, in amount
sufficient for covering at least the smoke pipe (it is recommended to use more) and close the
chamber with the lid . Install two Φ5/4mm hoses with length of 210mm onto the pump stub
pipes and connect the free ends to the tee . Connect the Φ5/4mm hose with length of 820mm
to the free stub pipe of the tee. Put the adapter into the hose connected and put the Φ8/5mm
hose with length of 100mm onto the adapter. That hose has also to be put onto the stub pipe of
the smoker box smoke pipe. Light the wood chips in the smoker box through the openings on the
side of it and connect the pump to the power supply. Air flow should be adjusted using knobs on
the pump until the desired effect is obtained.
Depending on the temperature, we recommended the following smoking methods:
It takes place in the temperature from 8 to 25ºC and results in the strongest drying of smoked meat.
It also requires a lot of time. It should be carried out with breaks, in multiple phases. The first phase
of smoking usually takes 5-12 hours. Airing (taking about 5 hours) is carried out between phases
and aims at supplying fresh air. It causes additional drying of smoked meat and also creates
Depending on the product, the whole cold smoking process consists of 3 - 5 phases. This method
is used mainly for smoking raw meat sausages and corned raw products (mainly dry). The products
prepared in this manner are long-lasting, tasty, and can be stored for a long time. At the same time
it is necessary to remember to store them in a cool, dark, and draughty place. The products should
not touch one another. They should also be protected against dust and light.
- hot smoking (only in smokehouses fitted with an additional heat source)
It is used mainly for smoking scalded and cooked products. It takes place in the temperature from
24 to 60ºC. It is carried out without interruption for about 24 hours, which is why the temperature in
the smoking space has to be sustained with the use of an additional heat source (e.g. electrical).
The process of wood material combustion alone is not sufficient for maintaining appropriate thermal
• Prior to using the equipment it is necessary to make sure that the elements fit one another
• The device must not be located near flammable materials.
• When functioning, the device is hot and retains heat for a long time after extinguishing. The
device should be operated in protective gloves only. Touching the device is not allowed while
it is functioning and after extinguishing, until the moment it cools down on its own.
• While the smoker box is functioning it is not allowed to leave children without adult person’s

• The device should not be moved while it is functioning.
• Keep away from children.
It is forbidden to immerse the pump in water.
Prior to activating the device it is necessary to make sure that the power supply voltage and
frequency correspond to the parameters provided on the pump rating plate. Please use a standard
mains socket. If the device does not function correctly, do not try repairing it on your own - this can
be done by qualified technicians only. Connect the pump to grounded sockets only. Do not use the
pump in case of damage to the cable or the plug.
In case when the pump is in water, DO NOT attempt to remove it. Disconnect the power supply
cable plug from the mains electric socket and then remove the pump. If the water reaches the
electric parts of the device, disconnect the device from its power source immediately.

and persons who have no experience or are not familiar with the equipment. Children should not
play with the device.
Always turn off the pump when it is not in use, as well as prior to starting any works on assembly,
disassembly, maintenance, and cleaning thereof.
If the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C, this may lead to membrane rupture
